Dear parents and guardians, Happy Halloween! We had a great day today with a Halloween party atmosphere around the school. Lots of dressed up staff and students made the day for us! We had a student dress up competition judged by the year heads this morning and a staff competition judged by the Student Council Executive at break time.  See photos attached! And check out our Tik Tok account! Extra-Curricular Activities Gaelic Football The Junior girls won again yesterday against Coláiste De Lacy - 4-10 to 7-8 for us. They will be through to the next round after midterm with 3 wins from 3.  Well done girls and Ms Scriven! Senior boys played away to Coláiste Rís, Dundalk and were narrowly defeated, hard luck to teacher Richard Thompson and the boys. Football Boys soccer played at home against yesterday, and beat Beaufort College 2:1.  Well done! Basketball The girls played away against Drogheda on Wednesday, unlucky on the first day out, but they played really well.  Thanks to teachers Shannon Watsun and Aoife Farrelly. U19 Boys played at home today, and had a great result for teacher Darragh Lowry and the lads. Camogie Our junior camogie team had their first outing of the year this morning against Colaiste De Lacy Ashbourne. The girls fought hard and had a well deserving win. Many girls got their name on the score sheet and there was some brilliant defense on display. The game finished on a score line of 10-10 to 3-2.
